A beautiful handcrafted cabin with its own private wood-fired hot tub and wood-burning oven. Unlike a lot of Airbnb options, this house has everything you could need and there’s cookbooks, games, fire wood supplies and white company hand wash and cream too. The location is beautiful and the walks nearby mean you don’t need to go far if you don’t want to. Would highly recommend!”

Honeysuckle Cottage is a beautiful grade II listed thatched cottage, located in the north-east of The Cotswolds, looking out over the village green in the peaceful little village of Sutton-under-Brailes. Many lovely walks can be accessed directly from the cottage and a number of local pubs are a pleasant walk away. The village is close to the famous Cotswold market towns of Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Norton and Chipping Campden.

What the guests say: “A gorgeous chocolate box cottage in such a peaceful village. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need including board games in the table drawers. We really enjoyed sitting out in the garden in the evening watching the sunset and the bats coming out. The lavender by the front door was lovely, especially when the stable door was half open.”

Modern Hayloft

This converted hayloft has been made into stylish two-bed suite with a shed bathroom and large lounge. It is on top of part of the owners’ home (above the kitchen) but has a separate private entrance and a door onto the garden. There is no kitchen but it is right in the heart of the village, a couple of hundred metres from good restaurants, ancient pubs and independent shops.

What the guests say: “The Hayloft is such a beautiful place to stay! Caroline and Dave were amazing and made our stay even better. The location is great as you have a few shops and local restaurants nearby. We would recommend the Italian and the pub just down the road. The projector was a great added touch for movie nights in. I would highly recommend the Hayloft for a relaxing break away to the Cotswolds.”

Two-bedroom stable cottage is surrounded by beautiful meadows, local walks and rolling countryside. Constructed in local cotswold stone, the traditional cottage dates from the 17th century and was once a stable for cart horses. It’s next door to a Jacobean farmhouse and guests have access to a small heated outdoor swimming pool from June-August.

What the guests say: “Absolutely wonderful stay in the cottage! Loved the location, the donkeys and horses, the views, everything was perfect. The cottage is comfy, cosy, clean, warm. Tony kept us stocked up with wood, and gave tips on where to walk and what to see while we were there. Absolutely 100% recommend! We’ll definitely be back.”

What the guests say: “Amazing house and gardens. We are a family of 4 – kids 14 and 12. We stayed for 4 nights, and in all honesty did not want to leave. You have to appreciate that you are getting a 15th century house with 12th century basement which has been restored to museum standard.

Apart from generous living accommodation, you have exclusive use of the library and hall. You also have five acres of garden which has been arranged as an architectural spectacle with sculpture. On top of that you have a tributary of the river Avon running through the gardens. Kristen and Rufus were amazingly kind and generous with their time. Kristen gave us a memorable historical tour.”

What the guests say: “Lovely place for a couple to spend a weekend away if exploring the northern part of the Cotswolds. The local town is very charming (especially in Winter) and only a 5minute walk through the grounds to get there. Having access to the pool was a luxury and would easily spend more than just a few nights here. Thanks again!”
