10 best Cornwall lodges with hot tubs
Hen House Hideaway, Saltash
This converted stone barn on Lower Marsh Farm has plenty of character and quirks, including an original chapel. There’s an outdoor hot tub, and you can also use the farm’s other amenities including a tennis court, an orchard with a hammock, basketball hoop, woodland, and a private shingle beach right on the river. You can also book a foraging workshop, stand-up paddle boarding, wine tasting and more.
They have another rental, Orchard Cottage, available too. This is one of our absolute favourite lodges in Cornwall with a hot tub.
What Plum Guide says: “It’s clear that converting this traditional stone barn into a luxury home has been a labour of love. Set across two floors, it’s a warm and cosy space that’s the ideal base for enjoying the scenic Cornish countryside.
“The great outdoors is the real draw here. The home makes up part of Lower Marsh Farm, which means chickens and ducks roam the grounds freely – and there are even Highland cows too.”
Redwood, Saltash
Redwood is one of three cute pods on The Greenhouse Spa Retreat, a vegan, minimalist retreat in Saltash. There’s an outdoor stove for cooking, as well as a fire pit on the private patio. And you can even get on-site spa treatments in the gardens. A hot tub and sauna is shared between the three pods.
If you book it at the right time it can work out as good cheap lodge with a hot tub in Cornwall.
What the guests say: “This glamping experience exceeded all our expectations in every way. The pod was cozy and quiet. The addition of fairy lights made it a perfect retreat at night. The hot tub was a lovely way to end the days and our treatments at the spa were lovely.
“Victoria and Dan were excellent site hosts and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!”
Old School, Fowey
This converted Victorian School situated on the slopes of Fowey has incredible views, including from the hot tub. It has a modern industrial design aesthetic with lots of plush and fun touches, including a ping pong table in the living area.
It sleeps up to 16 people, so would be an amazing place for a group getaway. There’s even a projector, so you can have your very own movie nights.
It’s one of the best luxury lodges with a hot tub in Cornwall.
What the guests say: “The house really is impressive. High ceilings and very well furnished throughout. It’s just a lovely place to be in and 5 star finish throughout. We were lucky enough to book the main house at very short notice, after checking out early from a hotel we didn’t like.
“Julian was very responsive and frankly moving was the best thing we could have done. It saved our holiday and was a massive step up from any hotel we could have stayed in. Can’t recommend the house enough and hope to come back again at some point.”
Brea, St.Ives
This stylish bungalow cottage has a stunning hilltop location with views of the sea, Godrevy Lighthouse and the beaches of St.Ives Bay, one of the most beautiful places in the world. The perfect place to base yourself on a St.Ives trip and enjoy a hot tub with a view come the end of the day.
What the guests say: “The cottage was in an excellent position between Carbis Bay and St Ives. Both within walking distance along the coastal path. The cottage was well presented and well equipped. The owners, Andrew and Victoria, were very welcoming and we’re responsive to requests without being intrusive. The hot tub was a nice way of relaxing after a long day of walking.”
Cornish Blue, Watergate Bay
The seven-bedroom Cornish Blue vacation home is a perfect group retreat for Watergate Bay and Newquay. There’s even a private cinema room. The outdoor hot tub is covered, so perfect for all seasons. I love the bright blue exterior!
What Plum Guide say: “In the cute hamlet of Tregurrian, just by Watergate Bay, Cornish Blue is in a great spot to experience the more active side of Cornish life. And when the weather isn’t cooperating, you can retreat to the games room, or the home cinema.
“There’s even a covered hot tub in the garden. Admittedly, the design of Cornish Blue won’t do it for everyone (the bathrooms in particular feel a bit samey), but the practicality and the location of the home more than make up for that.”

It has great style with lots of statement wallpaper, rolltop baths and thoughtful attention to detail.
There are epic sea views, and it’s on a farm, so you can sample the homegrown produce.
What the guests say: “Absolutely stunning property, owners were very friendly and helpful, provided a lovely welcome basket of goodies and also supplied us with some lovely fresh vegetables from their farm.

Festivities
Festivities is a gorgeous Grade II-listed Georgian Manor House for up to 14 guests in central Cornwall. It’s on thirty acres of gardens with lots of woodland paths, ponds and rolling hills to explore.
The outdoor hot tub is the perfect place to end the day with some candeles lit for good measure.
What Plum Guide says: “Inside, you’ll be blown away by the high ceilings, chic decor, and period-inspired furnishings for an elegant and atmospheric visit. With seven bedrooms and two drawing rooms, there’s plenty of space for everyone to spread out or come together to enjoy each other’s company. At the end of a long day, soak your tired muscles in the outdoor hot tub with its candles and LED lighting.”
