Ubud: It's a little like Marmite when you first arrive – you either love it or hate it. I nearly fell into the second camp, becoming overwhelmed by the tourism, but I soon fell in love with my life there. The grand 'Don't Knock it Til You Tried It' experiment didn't always make things easy, but I look back on that time in bali fondly and know I'll one day likely return.
